The National Hispanic Science Network on Drug Abuse recently honored Dr. Mario De La Rosa, Director of CRUSADA, with the National Award of Excellence in Research by a Senior Investigator. This prestigious award is presented annually to an investigator for his or her outstanding lifetime record of scientific contributions and publications in the field of drug abuse. Dr. De La Rosa is among a handful of internationally recognized Latino scholars to have received this award from this prestigious network of Hispanic behavioral and biomedical scientists.
