C-SALUD BI-Annual Conference, 2011

CRUSADA and Florida International University (FIU) proudly presented the C-SALUD BI-ANNUAL CONFERENCE “Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS in Latinos: Linking Research with the Community” funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD). The conference was held at Kovens Conference Center located in FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus April 26-27, 2011.

Conference attendees were elligible to earn up to 12 Continuing Education Units. 
The Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are applicable to:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marital and Family Therapists (LMFT)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)

Participants were able to take advantage of this unique opportunity to hear outstanding speakers and exchange ideas and information on key issues in Epidemiology, Research and Community, Research Funding, Substance Abuse, HIV/AIDS, Treatment, and Prevention.
